Meet the Principal

Dear School Community/Parents/Guardians/Students,

I am excited to introduce myself as the new principal of MySchool@Kent, and I look forward to partnering with you in fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment for our students. With a commitment to blended learning, I am enthusiastic about providing a personalized education that combines the best of in-person and online instruction to meet the needs of each student.

As an educator, I am passionate about creating a learning community where every student has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe in a balanced approach to education—one that emphasizes not only academic excellence but also character development, career awareness, and resilience. I am dedicated to ensuring that our school remains a place where curiosity is nurtured, growth is celebrated, and success is achieved—while fostering flexibility, accountability, and a strong sense of belonging for every student, both in the classroom and beyond.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, taking our dog for walks, and cheering on my favorite sports teams. These personal interests help me stay grounded and remind me of the importance of balance in life—a value I strive to instill in our students as well.

I am truly excited about the year ahead and the opportunities we will have to work together to support our students. Please know that my door is always open for you, and I welcome any thoughts, questions, or ideas you may have. Together, we will make this a wonderful year for everyone in our school community.
